Many Congratulations!
I would be interested in attending the launch. Can you categorize the
description of the system from a Customer's Perspective and from a
Merchant's Perspective?
A couple of questions:
1. Is the $200 for Merchants or Customers or both?
2. You've said that a Customer can use AirTime, Zap, M-Pesa to
purchase. I assume the transaction limits apply. I also assume the
usual transaction charges would apply (especially Zap and MPesa).

Hi Guys,
I have mentioned here before that we are working on an online gateway
for Mpesa and other mobile money transfer systems. Good news, we have
finally finalized on the product and will be launching on the second
week of February. We are on the process of testing and finalizing
documentation for the system and while at it, I would like to highlight
key features of the system and probably if you have any questions or
suggestions we would love to factor them into it.
- We shall not handle your money, your money will go
directly into your phone.
- We shall not take commissions off each sale, we shall
have a yearly fee of $200
- We shall have an easy to use API that is xml based so
you can intergrate with any sort of web applications. Application
developers can also use this.
- We shall have a reseller base that will also serve as a
support hub within Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
- Your online account shall have reports of all mobile
transactions including withdrawals, sent and received money, meaning
you can monitor your business from anywhere.
- You can choose to use airtime as a mode of payment and
we shall buy it back from you at a set rate.
- You can sell across East Africa and soon the whole of
Africa.
- You will be able to sign up online, pay for the service
online and start using it without having to meet anyone.
- The system will be very well documented for ease of use.
- We shall have our main office in Nairobi, branch
offices in Dar es salaam and Kampala.
- You will be the first to know of the launch venue and
time and expected guests who hopefully will include Ndemo.
Please let me know if there are suggestions or any questions and i will
be here to answer.
