WDS has no issues so long as the parent AP is the same for all other AP's. Make ur parent AP mikrotik outdoor and ur sorted. U can even create a hotspot with authentication once u do this so easily.

I think tis wrong to summarily advice against a solution, technology, especially when commenting on general issues. Note; I'm not talking about companies, providers, etc.

A lot of times, successful deployment depends on domain knowledge, suitability to a specific situation, type and/or quality of equipment used, etc.
