Any bank that opens an account without asking a million questions and requiring you to fill 1001 forms is definitely flouting a lot of rules. The KYC requirements from KBA/regulatory authorities is very comprehensive. So getting an account in 5 mins is not necessarily a good thing. Same way in some countries you cannot just buy a sim card. hehe kwani Jared you don't want to pay for a loan? I'm guessing anyone would nag you if you past the due date...
I'd go with DTB. My account has been there 8 years now, I opened a business account in 10 minutes flat, got email notifications on transfers, email indemnity so I can email instructions, at one time the manager cleared a check I had issued and funds had delayed just because I was his first customer for the day. Maybe something to do with that indian thing of you must make that sale if it's the first. Opened a subsequent USD and EURO account over the phone and operated them for years (since they already had my docs). They now have a decent mobile app. They were also instrumental in 15 minute transfers from DTB burundi to DTB kenya even if they were different banks with same brand. Also opened a pall's account over the phone and was active, but was given 60 days to produce documentation. Not bad.
Only downside is they don't offer unsecured loans. ᐧ
