The wikipedia page for croton does have this little gem "*It is a source of the organic compound phorbol <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phorbol> and its tumor-promoting esters<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate> *".
