Kevin, This has nothing to do with new packages. The number you seen on your screen is actual the smartcard number or serial number of you decoder. This is called digital watermarking/fingerprinting. This morning I observed I could view all channels on DSTV ( i.e Premium channels yet I am on compact). Its it an issue related to changeover or have they finally seen the light and want to offer competitive prices .( though I suspect the former is the case)
