yes, these 3 quarter jacks are a nuisance - i get mine somewhere in a lane off luthuli - to circumvent some of the problems i buy bulk so go testing which works, which does not hum - the falling apart lol!

i think the best way around is to check Nipuls shop in westlands-sound creations and Dj Ohm's shop first floor in the buliding that homeboys have their offices baricho rd-so far thse two dealers do not dissapoint. - they could also advise where to get

First it started with a long walk around Ronald Ngala and Mfangano streets. Many stalls selling speakers, sub woofers but almost none with a 3.5 mm jack.

Few even understood what 3.5 mm jacks are, I got asked what season of this I wanted.

The only place I got them , they were at Ksh 20.

Using them, you have to maintain them plugged at angle č, otherwise the jack doesn't work.

Today it disintegrated, part of it is stuck in some equipment, the other is shown here (complete with earbud to stabilize): http://yfrog.com/muhcojj

Please help me before the government has to spend taxpayers money on me in Mathare, where in Nairobi can I get decent 3.5 mm jacks and a speaker wire. I need to replace my Creative SBS A300 jack which broke after 4 years of service. Price guidance will be appreciated too.
