Is spamming illegal? Privacy issues? In the same way i would ask if telesales is illegal as well coz ive gotten many calls selling me stuff i dont want and i dont remember giving them my number( i wont mention the culprit call center because i know who they are). I guess the answer is no so the only key issues would be taxation and paper trail of the transaction as well as if I pay and dont get the service (or cant measure impact of my advert) and I want to dispute in court, can I? 2009/4/25 James Muendo <timrick@gmail.com>

This is not necessarily illegal in KRA terms infact they can make money from it, the issue is whether spamming is legal and that shud probably be that ICT act to decided or Cops.

I'd say it is perfectly legal. If there is a law that says "I must
register
my business" before being allowed to do such, then I'd say it's not legal until I do that, but in the absence thereof of any such law, then I'll be home and dry anyway, no?
Anyone from KRA would tell you it is illegal without arguing why.
