I could not believe yesterday when I went over to a camera shop they were selling a Nikon D40 @ 80,000/- while this camera should be about Ksh 35,000/-. So if you remove the zero-rating, the camera should be costing around 25,000/- to 30,000/-.

For cameras I figured it's much cheaper to get them outside the country :) especially since anything DSLR magically gets its price inflated....
