Hi

Which operator are you using, call them up and they should help you recover your password. RIM(research in motion) keeps all the data about your blackberry, way from installed applications to user data, contacts etc. However if you werent subscribed to the blackberry service then i guess you are doomed.

Philip,

If you cant afford to loose data, you shouldnt afford to loose a
password. Open the battery cover, under the battery, you will find a
link written "Forgot Password?" Click there and you will get
instructions on how to reset the password. Please note that you cant
see this link unless the battery is connected to the phone.
