I find them to be very useful accessories , for example on my phone if i want to change a track i have to pull out my 5.0 inch phone to press one button the put it back, now most of you would have earphones that have that , also you get a text , once again 5.0 and text content is "k" , also you want a glance at the time (or avoid someone) pulling out a 5.0 inch.... (the guy will have spotted and started a conversation) , so yes they are abit relevant , but i was looking for features, would you like to answer phones calls? (look like a CIA Operative ...not to be tried in Mogadishu) take pics from a 3.0 (i know this is useless but once again CIA operative, stay with me here) , but once again small things that make sitting down enjoyable or when you have to check your phone while having a conversation and then the whole conversation flow breaks , whilst a small glance at your wrist would have saved the day... *i should really be in marketing not IT*.. but lets talk features.

Thanks, Ndungi, for asking that question. You have the phone on you, and the watch on you. The later is simply unnecessary.

As one Mwirigi said here: http://mulikamwizi.com/2014/01/29/smartwatches-like-the-galaxy-gear-and-the-pebble-whats-the-point/
Smart watches are meant to be a replacement/upgrade for guys who wear 'Analog' watches. This is the target market and not the rest of us who believe that a smartphone is an adequate timing device.

I wonder though, why I would want yet another device carried on my person with apps to notify me about what is in my phone (which is right inside the pocket of the trouser am wearing) ? No thanks. This energy to innovate should be directed towards a smartphone battery that will last us a month.

Yes, better said! Some things defeats logic (IMHO) if really some devices add value to your communication, convenience or even 'style with purpose' and the like.
