Are you able to sync within the LAN? You agree with me that "over the net" is another monster altogether.

Well, my 3rd rate Galaxy Ace has a VPN client. If you can sync on the LAN, then a VPN concentrator will enable that to work "over the net".

This can be possible if you have use a USB connection and sync using Kies for Samsung. The solution required is to sync two-way over the net.

The suggestions that I am getting online involve commercial 3rd applications and/or registering to some cloud services like dejacloud to sync all devices.
