Hallo Beatrice As Odhiambo said, check with your firewall as well make sure port 80 is not being blocked.Also try a reboot and see if that helps cause remember Skype causinga similar issue on my end.What anti virus are you using?Kaspersky has its own firewall so you have to add some applications to the trusted zone.
