I advise people against using speedtest especially for Zuku or any local speedtest hosts. Brian is right use speedtest sites located in the UK or Netherlands. Zuku internet has improved a whole lot, I have been using it for 15 months and am on the 10Mbps package. Wananchi have the Google cache and also have Akamai traffic which make it really appealing. The only problem I have with Zuku is their upload speeds which are around 1Mbps. That makes it really unattractive for uploading things like Youtube videos etc, but if all you care about is downloading Zuku 10Mbps is perfect. The whole story about the speeds reducing with increasing numbers is not true. I know for a fact that the quality of service has improved apart from the occasional outages apparently caused by "power outages". I think for the cost of 4300/- that is the best deal hands down. That is of course until Safaricom introduces the vuma@home to everyone in Nairobi, then we may have to jump ship.

Speed test against which location? Use speedtest.net and pick somewhere in the UK or US.
