@Peter, unfortunately, I&#39;ve been digging a lot on the web and I cant find a mention of an indicative price range of building/buying a cable repair ship, but from <a href="http://www.iscpc.org/information/Cableships_Page.htm">this list</a>, you can see that some private shipping companies actually own more than one, so surely they can&#39;t be that expensive, no?<br>

Damn! It costs USD$ 3 million to repair a cable? Thats a nice income for someone in .ke who might happen to have a cable repair ship...<br><br>And it seems business is brisk seeing as E-Marine was fully engaged elsewhere.<br>
