@guys, just an amatuer input on this API thing. In our past comms days, we used to connect eg cellphones/gsm modems via serial ports and read data realtime from them. Eg, using hyper-terminal or using a serial data device convertor that will pick eg characters or dump to a file. Then your gateway can convert the dump file to a format eg XML, CSV, XLS that will be helpful to your webpage code? I dont think you need an Mpesa API, as long as you can read serial data from the sim using serial methods and that data can be converted. If you look carefully at the mpesa process, the transaction is a few characters with eg sender code, your code etc.
