If I am not wrong, and if my memory serves me right thought sometimes I doubt it, I do recall from my days at a certain job that forklifts and such are classified under "Special Type" vehicles under the Traffic Act. I should think that there are some driving schools who may be having lessons in driving forklifts but in the absence of that, one can get the license anyway. It's a simple "endorsement" on your DL (Driving Licence) so I believe it is mandatory that first you are a licensed driver (of any class other than a motor cycle). Then you can find a place where they allow you to practice driving a forklift (based on this fact that you are a competent driver). After this, it's a simple matter really. You go to the Police Driving Test Unit and ask to be tested on driving forklift. The Police DTU will arrange to come and test/verify the fact and then give you a letter (or some form). It's this form that you take to KRA for the endorsement stamp on your DL. Okay, all this is from my good for nothing RAM.
I can advise the OP to walk into the Police Driving Test Unit and ask for the clear details about this endeavor if the Driving Schools in town aren't offering any help.
