Are you referring to the colossus here? Boss, that would be gross! I do have a complete backup of GoW III anyway.
For no points, there are several DIY jailbreak tutorials readily available on the net. I'd recommend these two:

Some digging on Geohot, Wutangrza, Waninkoko, and Kmeaw should give you an interesting read. I'm running Kmeaw CFW + Kmeaw lv2 update on the slim console. Multiman is my backup manager. The only hitch I've had is that I haven't managed to run my Black Ops backup as yet. Could be due to anything.....
NB: I survived the risk of bricking the console, so I have nothing to warn about that.
