No one can hack the blackberry, even the CIA. Those fears are unfounded. That's why countries like Saudi Arabia are banning some of their services. Even India complained that criminals use them coz authorities can't trace them. Research In Motion (RIM) keeps a tight lead on the source code anyway, that's why many countries security agencies hav an issue with them.
Besides, the electronic transmission of votes remains preliminary figures and are only finalized once the Returning Officer is physically present at HQ to confirm the figures. Your making an issue where there's none. Reminds me of the Nyayo days when DSTV was banned coz of the satellite dishes being a 'security' issue
