
This has been the case with me too, two days in a row. First on Tuesday evening i loaded up with 100, made 1 phone call for about 20 seconds, tried to make a second one, the annoying lady said my account is below the blah blah blah, yesterday evening same story. The gave me the same flimsy excuse that I tried to use the internet, am I not supposed to use it?. And here i was thinking that Safaricom is maximizing on data? Today they just swallowed above 70 of my airtime I topped up and now account balance fluctuating 80 and 98. Tried calling 100 yap they they admited there system is mulfunctioning and they will refund there esteemed affected customers as the fault was triggered by attempt to internet now the other day it was mpesa now the questionn is why now and not before I guess they are recovering the unbearable call rates:-):(
