Only get the roku if you don't plan on using it for online streaming services such as netflix, etc. You can't change the dns settings on it and so using a dns unlock service won't work. There is  a way to get it to work via your router but that's a project in itself.

Easier to just get a device that will let you set to dns settings yourself. If you won't need it for online steaming then by all means get it.
