If u are behind a router,you will need to forward port 81 on your router to the IP address of the machine running apache(I'm assuming this is ur web server). If not, check ur /etc/apache2/apache2.conf or httpd.conf and ensure the listening directive specifies the port, and the IP address. If the IP address is not specified, Apache2 will listen on all IP addresses assigned to the machine it runs on. The default value for the Listen directive is 80.
