@Solomon, given the lack of input ( besides what Murigi contributed to Dev thread ) there is no need to proceed further. Why put in an effort when what we really need are people who are passionate about what they do. Despite my very hectic schedule next year , I decided to add the thread work on my priorities list which meant having a program to follow via emails etc. I'm switching back to techie mode on skunks community and make my contributions at that level.
Aki,
It is that time reflect and unwind over the past years happenings.
We had 26 attendees in total @ the Jacaranda meet on Nov 7, 2009. We got to identify people we will be working with more across the board (technical divide).
Follow up is essential and we now have people to assist us who more effective than we ever will be in reaching out to the Next Generation of Developers. Our ranting however keeps some of these upcoming geeks challenged to become better. If 15-20 years ago we got what we are subjecting them to now, it would be a different developer story for Kenya today.
Also, would rather have you anonymous than offline. If your a Gal who knows cars (mechanics and electronics) the way you do .... Mungu atusaidie!
Cheers Dude(ette?)
