When i met him back in 2001 i think, he impressed so much i asked him, so whats your name? He refused to tell me, instead telling me to call him "Beste Mnoma". As so we all did for a few months!

To me, idd was "beste mnoma" in code and in life. His blog www.iddsalim.com is a legacy to Kenyan Tech community that deserves attention.
