I thought there is a standard band(range) within which our mobile radios should communicate. 
None the less the damage to your brain can mainly be (if all other factors constant) the hardware you use and the side of the head u r using it from, the poorer the more microwaved u become :) otherwise the originating call doesnt add up, unless your gadget has been made (conspiracy theory) to respond differently when that no or combination calls. e.g if ($OC==+912*****){
