Hehehe..... :-) and while we are in a VIRTUAL world where an IT savvy person could be president, " I'd definately apply for that Minister of Telecomms job"
Simple Overview of my virtual campaign for telecom minister 2012. Radical Action 2013 Jan actions go place :
- No taxes for 15 years for ICT companies and goods
- All service providers to comply with Kenya Bureau of Standards services badge. KBS to work with CCK to ensure our international image in ICT is honoured by companies and individuals.
- All kenyan ICT and Service Provider companies based outside cities ( including outside radius of 40 kms ) receive special tax and loan incentives to ensure spread of technology, products and services within a 2 year period.
- Govt to open and run E-Shops in all cities where ICT products can be purchased at competitve and credit facilities.
- Govt to talk to all major product vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, MS, Foss companies etc etc and get them to base their Africa operations in Kenya. Special incentives given out to them
- Govt to build free ICT facilities in every location where low income is hampering access. 2 years - over a 10000 locations.
- Govt to offer ICT higher education cheaper through public facilities and partners.
and many more changes. Game plan would see the first 5 years ICT penetration of services and products to at least 20 million kenyans. Incase the Min of Finace wants to fight, ni sawa. He'd better match or out beat my proposals and implementations or just shut up and count the coins made.
Campaign keyword : ACTION E-Telecomms, Ni Leo!
At the end of my tenure, MANDATORY retirement and a well deserved pension plan. LOL!
