Thank you for your assistance I decided to just install the 4.0 .Net framework and so far everything has held steady and have made the additions that i needed to make successfully. I have a a dilemma guys, i have done my research on the net and still cant get the exact response that i need.
We all know that sharepoint runs on the .NET version 3.5.....so what would happen if i installed .NET 4.0 on the server??
1. would it replace and upgrade the .NET 3.5 already installed?...and if it did would it affect sharepoint negatively? I would guess not since am just doing an upgrade
2. would I be able to run different .NET versions on the same server, and just use different application pools in different web applications in IIS????
Any experts out there please help!!!!!
