Be warned though, at least with Startimes, the decoder and smartcard have to be "paired". This is part of the post-purchase activation process and may not necessarily work with third party decoders.

I think the other stations charge akina Startimes because StarTimes also charge for the same, or place them in chargeable bouquets.
