Wifi makes sense for a small office - but there is also the question of cost of wireless network adapters for the desktop PCs - since nowadays all machines come with built in ethernet the cost of circa 10-15k for wiring + switch is much easier to swallow (although less attractive coz you have wires lying around). If, on the other hand, the workstations are laptops with inbuilt wifi then the access point/hotspot route makes a lot of sense.

Thanks Wash + Brian,
The mixture of new laptops and old desktops means that wireless would only work for about 50% of the machines.
However I see some of the powerline adapters have Ethernet ports - or am I missing something here.
Have either or you used any powerline adapters? Happy with them?
