Hi Guys,

I need to change the device special names for an Oracle OVM Server as follows:

Current:/dev/mapper/3600601601fc131000607ef2ce8e0e311

New:/dev/mapper/360a98000572d584a654a685142474a56

Note that user-friendly names are not allowed on the multipath.conf file.

I already tried the method below, but it didnt work, unless i missed something:

multipath {
              wwid                  3600601601fc131000607ef2ce8e0e311
              alias                 360a98000572d584a654a685142474a56
            }

Any experts....
