
Regardless of OS, I think a clean install is the best way to go over upgrading. Only drawback is reinstalling your apps and restoring other data...but if you've partitioned your HDD, it's not so bad... :) You could also try it in a VM before you decide to clean house...i'm running Lucid Lynx on virtualbox and it looks sweet...
