The Chinese, while so sophisticated as to insert snooping software on their equipment, lack sophistication to insert such in devices manufactured in China, like the iPhone. It is also proved that network traffic and communications from the US and to the US stays within US, and therefore nowhere else in the world does it have to pass through devices manufactured in China. Anyway, the Chinese have been keeping facebook and Twitter out of China for similar reasons. It's a fair game.
