Just wondering...what type of sensor triggers the camera to take the photo when a driver jumps a light? and where is it placed? Maybe its an issue of theoretical time versus practical time.

Do the cameras have timestamp synced to the traffic light changes incase one gets summoned for such unintended road-trolling ?
