I ended up getting an ex-UK monitor, it seems the distributors for HP and Dell only bring in the lowest consumer grade crap or the most expensive enterprise products and nothing in between. This applies to APC distributors as well, I need a UPS with a serial/USB port that can be used for power management, the models with such a port used to be available but now they aren't.
