Hi guys,

I installed SquidNT on my Windows 2003 proxy server and I have noticed that it has become slow lately. I am guessing that the reason for this is the many files that squid has to read and write to coupled with NTFS performace issues. I'm just wondering if there are certain settings in the squid.conf file that I could tweak to enhance its performance. I do not want to switch to a Linux box yet because of some other reasons that I do not need to list here. My LAN has about 20-25 active internet users and my link is 1mbps symmetric.

Anyone with some tips that could help?

Me.
