Hi Guys,
I have several domains registered with kenyasoftnet.com
I have wanted to transfer the domains but they have refused to help. (They have now resorted to not answering my calls)
The domains haven’t expired so there is no issue of renewal.
What options do I have to force him into assisting – I beliv I have the right to transfer my domains whenever I want
His service is poor and is causing me a lot of stress with clients
Any help is highly appreciated
From experience as a domains registrar (in my previous life) the owner of the domain (the person who paid for the domain name to be registered) was always made the domain's Administrative PoC (Point of Contact) for the domain in the registry. The person/organization registering took the Technical PoC for the domain. The Administrative PoC (by way of full contact details including e-mail) is the person who receives the request to transfer the domain (via e-mail) and authorizes the same. If this kenyasoftnet.com conforms to these simple rules by ICANN, then you can always transfer your domain at will. If they did it in a way that hinders this, then perhaps you can contact the courts..or ICANN, or KENIC....if your domains are .KE
