As Njuki has just said, If you check your settings.php you must have set options for mysqli i.e: $db_url = 'mysqli://username:password@localhost/databasename'; now change this to $db_url = 'mysql://username:password@localhost/databasename'; The difference is at mysqli & mysql. Talk to the sysadmin to install that php module (php5-mysqli) and restart Apache. I don't know why the module is being sucked in though, since you aren't using it.
