Yea that was the question Chris. I agree indexing for canonical urls is much faster of which dynamic pages are not until 'rewritten'; so it makes no difference. In fact I have a question: can the search engine tell the difference between a dynamic and a static page; well I'm not talking about trying to fool Google because sooner or later...
