Have you noticed that so many sites nowadays that offer &quot;free&quot; software downloads always require the user to login or register before he/she can &quot;freely&quot; download any software?<br>First, I don&#39;t understand how my login/registration helps them make money or whatever<br>
Secondly, most users on being required to login will most probably look for another site that doesn&#39;t require the login or registration, which beats whatever purpose they were trying to achieve..<br>It&#39;s frustrating coz all I want is the software then I move on with life.<br>
And what assurance do I have that they won&#39;t start sending me spam??<br>
