Martin,One more thing is to consider is going either crop or FX (35mm) sensor. Choose one and go with it since you will invest in lenses as well.Well if money is no object here are my thoughts on Nikon :)
- D7200 and D800 are good for crop and full sensor respectively
- D750 has had some recall issues - can check online
- D500 is new and has some good reviews. Can give it some time before getting it though since there's minor possibility of recall as with some new cameras.
Canon fans will suggest on their end.Regards,

I had already noticed the D750.I agree with you Jason, the camera battle is always between Nikon and Canon, then the rest. I will email and see what we can get.Alex,I'm not quite sure I'm fixed on the budget per se. I could be quite flexible, especially since the camera purchase could mean me either getting a good budget that will feel outdated in a few months or a huge spend that would probably be unnecessary.William, I am as basic as they come, but I probably won't be the one operating it.Regards,

I would prefer to get one that will be an all-rounder, from shooting macros (really close-up photos and videos) to shooting video indoors, outdoors (event photography and video).I seek your advice on what options to pursue to get something current while not losing too much money. Suggestions on bundling also welcome, offers to sell too.Bundles would include lighting, sound extensions and different lenses for close-ups and long range.Regards,
