I have two internal hard drives with faulty motherboards. The initial one got toasted and I went ahead and bought a similar drive. I have been using the mother board interchangeably on the two disks until the board got toasted again.

I am looking for a dead drive whose board is still intact before I consider buying yet another drive (number 3).
