Its not the modem that matters its the service provider. You can get a modem from any provider get it unlocked and choose another provider. But make sure you get a 3g enabled modem. Both Safaricom and Zain offer such modem but the orange one is only edge/gprs capable. About the service am not very sure but if its speed you are looking for go for the safaricom offer, if you are looking for a unlimited plan go with zain, Orange is easy on your pocket so its best if you look for affordable connection.
