Dennis, For books, consider investing in a kindle. I have paperwhite using natural light (not back lit) thus doesn't hurt the eyes. This allows you to procure kindle editions instead of hard copies. It's cheaper and instant. Very convenient for those who like reading. You can alternatively install the kindle app from Amazon on your Android tablet or even windows laptop which works in the same way. Only that if you're an ardent reader it'll hurt your eyes.
