i would not say techno , i would say Mediatek devices , i have similar issues with my HTC 616 (which im trying so hard not to throw out the window).. even in the XDA developer forum , they're complaining about Mediatek devices , the source code was released very recently ... so even porting and upgrading becomes quite an issue .. i would say , make sure your next phone isnt a mediatek based phone

Compared to what I observe when I use a Nokia X2, something tells me there is an issue with the Tecno although the Nokia doesn't give me the option of viewing the Wlan params/clients.

Is there something I should do? Google doesn't seem to have anything or maybe it's just my google foo that is lacking..
