Dear All,
Anyone who can advice an equipment that I can use to transfer all calls (From Mobile lines and Telkom Kenya Lines) between branches within Nairobi. The branches are in Westlands (Main Office) / Industrial Area and Village Market. Let me know of a supplier for the same.
Thank you.
Is your PBX IP-enabled? The simplest you can do is this: 1. Your PBX is IP-enabled and so you can use IP phones, which are configured to register into it as extensions 2. You configure a WAN between MO, IndArea and VillageMarket branches 3. Have every deskphone as an extension of the Main Office PBX 4. Get a GSM Gateway[0] attached to your PBX for the purpose of originating/receiving calls. 5. An operator console attached to the PBX; Main Incoming call route is this Operator console. The operator then transfers calls. You are done. In an advance scenario, you can built your own IP PBX using Asterisk as suggested by Ok3ch and do the integration or maybe you need to contract someone to do it. That someone is on this list as well. Else the PBX vendors/systems integrators. [0] You can get good results with the following GSM Gateways: (a) Quescom - http://www.quescom.com/Products_quescom_400.asp - Local Vendors in NBO.
