Not all cops undergo SoC (Scene of Crime) training. It's only a section within the CID, and these folks must always come from the CID office, not from the Police Station.
Policemen have real training. The problem is that most of the time they feel invincible and hence abuse their powers and privileges to an extent that "Wanjiku" will wonder what kind of training they underwent.

If you ask me, I've first hand experience.
