I once uploaded a file at 26KB/s (KB not Kb). That's more than I've seen in an upload for a long time. I was satisfied with the connection quality. I spent KSH.14 instead of KSH 60 in an internet cafe. This should be an early warning for internet cafes!
It's cheaper and it's faster, and I can only bet that it will get even more cheaper and faster.

I've used the Nokia N81 to surf the net through a laptop from South C and I must say the exprience has been great. This is mostly in the evening. For an hour of Skype chat (not voice or video) and opening around 10 web pages the charge was KSH. 14. |
Assuming this was on 3G (I haven't touched an N81), and that you are on prepaid, this means you transferred about 2MB the whole session since they charge KES 8/MB. However, I wonder what this has to do with the speeds?
