Hi Washington, Thanks for your input, but honestly, it's not helpful. I hope you don't take offense. Me. On 29 April 2010 14:00, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

Hey guys,
I have a problem over here. Some of my staff aren't supposed to be on the net. So I have denied them access. But one lady has a Safaricom modem and she is browsing. I have disabled the DHCP clinet service, as well as the RasMan service, but somehow the modem still works. I do not have one myself to use in auditing the connection process, so I'd like to request the list/skunkters for advise on how I can effectively cripple these troublesome gizmos.
Why is she not supposed to browse? If it's company policy, then you should tell her so. Otherwise go into her machine, uninstall the Safaricom software, then reduce her privileges on that machine to "member of users" group and she will not be able to install the software again. Simple, no?
