I disagree

Many times after work i prefer to be flexible to pass by a friends, joint or shop. If i carpool, this flexibility is taken away. That i believe is more a factor than dilution. Ive never minded giving a neighbour a lift. When i moved in i would try and realised everyone doesnt work in my direction so it was pointless to offe

@ongera, i disagree,
- 4 of my neighbours have cars (nissan van, mitsubishi double-cab, suzuki vitara, toyota g-touring)
- they have lived together (as neighbours) for minimum 3 years, spend lots of weekends together, so they must know each other pretty well
- yet each day, the four vehicles will be stuck in jams - (nissan: 1 pax (dere pekee), mits dcab: 2 pax, suzuki: 1 pax, toyota: 2 pax). sad FACT: they all work in the CBD.

- the disinterest in carpools has more to do with status (or its dilution) than (lack of) trust or any other silly excuse.

@ Saidi,
Consider this "You text for a plumber in Umoja to a number, you get a
list of persons near/and or in Umoja who are plumbers. How will you
verify that they are what they say they are ?"

Carpools are a bit complicated in Kenya Especially when you don't know
your neighbour at all. How can you know whether you are being carried
by a thug and/or carrying a thug?

A carpool app, can help ease traffic jams in Kenya, only that you just
don't know whom to trust.

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,but that we are powerful beyond measure.It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,our presence automatically liberates others.
