First, congrats for choosing to specialize in web development. Some peeps do web development, Java, PHP, Android, .Net, Python, Ruby etc and some who do that end up being below average in all of them.

Secondly, don't limit your options to being employed. People in your line of work DON'T have to be employed to make a living. Be open to working on per project basis. From local and overseas clients.

Third, hone your skill like your life depends on it, then big money will naturally gravitate towards you.

And finally, web apps is where the good money is at, but you have to pass through the valley of website development to get there.

I am almost certainly sure this month will not pass without you being gainfully engaged. :-)
