LOL! - hangs more than clothes!
I have no hanging issues with FF6.

@Peter:
Chrome might be using the same large amount of memory. It starts a new process for each new tab. Look at the total memory for all 'chrome.exe' running.
While I'm on chrome, I hope Google removes the Swahili-English mix 'bug' in the searches. It feels more like a bug than a feature. 8~|

When I open the same number of tabs in chrome, firefox and IE, firefox appears to be using more memory than the rest, followed by good old IE, chrome uses less memory
